Yum – a word, of uncertain origin, used to express happiness or pleasure derived from eating, drinking, or enjoying life.

As a long time wine blogger, writer, judge, and social media personality, I am always pursuing yum. Sometimes that is a slice of pizza, sometimes killer latkes, sometimes a perfect glass of Burgundy, and sometimes – the perfect Negroni.

In this case, In Pursuit of Yum was initial spawned as the group brainchild of some dear wine industry friends of mine, as a new platform to talk about food, wine, cocktails, friendships and the culture of wine country living.

So here he we are, a new year, a new reality and … a new yum.
